Role Responsibilities
The Float Pool Pharmacist is responsible for all delegated activities involved in the preparing, packaging, labeling, dispensing, documenting, monitoring, ordering and recording of pharmaceuticals. The Float Pool Pharmacist performs all activities as required by Texas State Board of Pharmacy. The Float Pool Pharmacist functions as manager in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
Salary
$67.00/hour
Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- Bachelor Degree or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- One year as a Registered Pharmacist
Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills
- One year in a Behavioral Health Facility
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
Job Related Physical Requirements
- Light Carrying, standing, stooping, bending, and reaching above shoulders, simple grasping, walking, hearing, sitting, standing, and twisting.
- Must be able to see, write, and operate office equipment.
- Qualified individual must be able to perform these functions with or without reasonable accommodations
