MCA holds a place as an SCN Top 50 Systems Integrator worldwide and possesses an excellent track record of completing high-profile projects with a focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

 

MCA is searching for an experienced Technical Trainer/Teacher within the Integrated Communications Technologies Construction field to deliver engaging instruction for both entry level technicians as well as experienced technicians. As our industry exponentially grows, MCA takes great pride in investing in our employees via continued education and workforce development to progress their careers. As a talented instructor and representative of our company, you will be at the forefront of expanding our roster’s technical knowledge and creating subject matter experts within our industry. You will also serve as a technical trainer during outreach training programs for external clients such as OSHA Certification Training.

 

Ideal candidates will have a wealth of experience in education/training and be very proficient with the following:

  • Developing training curriculum based on company standards, product updates, and industry standards.
  • Utilizing various training methodologies to conduct hands-on training sessions for both on-site, in the classroom, and virtual settings.
  • Excellent presentation skills with a demonstrated proficiency in presenting information clearly and effectively in both oral and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate trainees in a learning-centered environment to reach their full potential as highly skilled, career driven individuals.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles while providing hands-on experiences and practical applications of ICT concepts to enhance understanding.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating training materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Evaluating the performance of technicians during and after training to ensure comprehension and skill acquisition while providing feedback and coaching to improve technician performance.
  • Collaborating with project managers, field supervisors, and leads identifying training needs.
  • Provide regular reports on training activities, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Ability to attend certification classes in their discipline as deemed necessary by the department to comply with licensing requirements.
  • Ability to represent and grow MCA Communications’ branding through professional self-conduct during social interactions at training sessions, marketing presentations, and other events you may attend on behalf of MCA.
  • Willingness to continuously expand your own knowledge within the Information Communications Technology industry.
  • Very strong administrative acumen for filing keeping, organization, planning, calendar management, and adaptability.


Previous experience as a classroom style trainer within the ICT/AV/Telecom industry or as a Professor/Teacher in an official capacity is highly  preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, construction, or a related field. 2-3+ years prior experience in a technical training or education role may be substituted for a degree
  • Possess a certification to train OSHA 10 (ability to train OSHA 30 is a bonus)
  • ICT related certifications or ability to certify trainees in any of the following – BICSI, AVIXA, Biamp, Bosch, CommScope, CPR & First Aid, Corning, Creston, Extron, Firestopping, Fluke, Forklift/Scissor Lift/Boom Lift, Hilti, Leviton, Nurse Call, Scaffolding, etc.
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

 

Hiring Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must pass a drug test
  • Must have your own form of reliable transportation
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule (nights and weekends when needed)
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements for any and all instruction as a trainer – ability to work with your hands, lift up to 50, stand or sit for extended periods of times
  • High school diploma or equivalent
