Echo Technologist Description:

  • $69,000 to $96,000 Yearly
  • $15,000 Sign On!
  • Monday through Friday Day Shift
  • Inpatient/Outpatient setting.

Echo Technologist Responsibilities:

  • Assists physicians when performing special procedures.
  • Consistently performs quality Doppler and color Doppler Exams
  • Acquires quality Stress Echo and Dobutamine images according to physician and benchmark standards.
  • Performs quality Trans esophageal echocardiograms according to physician expectations.
  • Demonstrates understanding of cardiac disease processes in order to obtain complete acquisition of images for clinical diagnosis by reading cardiologist.
  • Covers on-call schedule as assigned following departmental procedures.
  • Adheres to CCMH and Campbell County Clinic policies and procedures.
  • Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
  • Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.

Echo Technologist Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited program of diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Credentialing by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred at time of hire; however, registry must be complete within one year.
  • One year of experience in ultrasound imaging preferred.
  • Pediatric cardiovascular experience preferred.
