Seasonal Agronomy Operations

This position will be seasonal full time, normal hours will be 8-5 Monday through Friday, additional hours and weekend hours are mandatory during peak seasons (Monday-Saturday with occasional hours on Sunday).

Summary/Objective:

The Seasonal Agronomy Operations role’s responsibilities include providing the highest level of service for Castlewood Farmers Elevator Customers. You must be customer focused, be hard working, and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Essential Functions of Seasonal Agronomy Worker:

• Operate Loader for blending of fertilizer.
• Assist customers with loading fertilizer and other agricultural products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and offering expert advice on agronomic practices.
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure tasks are completed promptly and accurately.
• Provide support in grain receiving and other departments as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in agriculture or a related field preferred, willing to train
• Proficiency with computers and technology.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, lifting up to 55 lbs unassisted, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Clean Driving record is required.
