Job Description

Quality Control Manager

We are looking to add a career-minded Quality Control Manager to join our company who will travel with us from project to project throughout the country.

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Multiple years of commercial construction experience would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project) and PDF viewing software
  • Ability to maintain project documentation, such as inspection reports, non-conformance reports, as-built drawings, acceptance reports, warranties, and so forth.
  • Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, with the project team and clients.
  • Ability to review and comprehend project drawings and specifications quickly and efficiently.
  • Understand welding procedures and inspection of finished welds.
  • Understand industry related codes and standards such as AWS, AISC, MBMA, IBC, RCSC, and OSHA
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required.
  • Able to be away from home for weeks at a time.
  • Coordinating, receiving, and inventorying material deliveries.
  • Conducting pre-install meetings for each work activity
  • Inspecting work activities during and after installation to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
  • Preparing, submitting, and tracking quality control inspection reports and non-conformance reports
  • Travel from project to project as assigned throughout the country.
