Maintenance Manager

HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Manager in the manufacturing industry in Rolla, MO!

Salary: $90,000-$110,000

Shift: Monday Friday, Day shift. May be required to work flexible hours to support emergency and shift requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure efficient and safe functioning of plant equipment and maintenance systems.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs for all production areas, coordinating internal labor and external contractors as needed.
• Offer technical leadership for production requirement assessments, resource alignment for preventive maintenance, and corrective work orders, including troubleshooting and emergency response.
• Coordinate planned downtime and repairs to minimize production loss.
• Lead and support capital expansions and project management plans.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget and maintain inventory for critical maintenance repairs.
• Promote the Maintenance department as a dedicated service to Operations, demonstrating urgency to support a 24/7 operation with on-call support for unplanned downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety objectives while meeting maintenance performance targets.

Education Requirements

• Post-secondary education in mechanical maintenance or engineering is ideal.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5-7 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably in a 24/7 operational setting. Manufacturing experience in recycled paper is a plus.
• Comprehensive understanding of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance principles and technologies.
• Expertise in maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and conflict management skills.
• Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, automation).
• Experience and competence in using a CMMS system, with implementation experience preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency, works well under pressure, and reacts to stressful situations with professionalism.
