CRNA

Provides anesthesia services to Winner Regional Health clients. Duties of nurse anesthetist (CRNA) include performing pre-operative patient assessments, educating patients about the effects of anesthesia, administering anesthetics (MAC, General Anesthesia, Spinals, IV Regional, etc.), maintaining appropriate levels of anesthesia during surgery, and follow up post-operatively after they have had their procedure. Anesthetists provide pain management services for Labor and Delivery clients. CRNA also provide clinical support services outside of the operating room, such as participating in cardiopulmonary resuscitation that involves airway maintenance, ventilation, tracheal intubation, pharmacologic, cardiopulmonary support.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and nurse anesthetist program. Must complete yearly in-service requirements of the department and Winner Regional Healthcare Center. Must complete certification in Basic Life support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).

Contract will be for 2 weeks on/2 weeks off.
