As a Cheba Hut Bartender, you will be the face of your shop and the entire Cheba-Nation!

Cheba Hut is a “Toasted” sub concept that has been curing munchies since its start in 1998. Founder Scott Jennings decided to showcase the harmony between great tasting food and … well, a very specific counter-culture. The menu features over 30 signature sub sandwiches, as well as a variety of Rice Krispy treats, salads and munchies. Most locations also offer craft beer bars that feature local beers from neighborhood breweries and special Cheba Hut drink recipes that you cannot get anywhere else!What really sets Cheba Hut apart, though, can only be experienced in our shops. We combine homegrown food with real people in a relaxed environment. Escape the established.

You will craft great drinks by hand, engage the people around you in a positive way, and give a damn about your team, your shop, and your customers! You will report to shift leads and your shop manager.


Compensation listed is base pay of $7.20 per hour up to $25.00 per hour with tips. Free shift meal and bar drink, bi-annual team parties, flexible hours, and quarterly limited edition Cheba swag! Homies also enjoy bi-annual parties, free wellness benefits, paid sick leave. Full-time homies are eligible for partial employer paid health, dental and vision benefits.

  • Prepare food/drinks per Cheba Hut standards as outlined in our recipes and procedures
  • Maintain proper food/drink handling, safety, and sanitation
  • Complete food/drink prep in a timely manner
  • Complete each assigned task before moving on to the next
  • Use f.i.f.o. rotation to serve the freshest possible product
