We are looking for a reliable, kind, energetic person who LOVES kids - and who wants to work as part of an amazing childcare center team! The position is full time, Monday - Friday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm with an hour lunch break. The right candidate should be comfortable working with toddlers as part of a team.
The Neighborhood Learning Center serves children from infant through 5th grade and we are an active, friendly, FUN place to work! In 2023, we were a finalist in Best of Loudoun for TWO categories - Best Preschool, and Best Child Care Center! Our staff are like family, with caring administrative staff and a supportive environment with incredible families. We offer medical, dental, and vision eye wear insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan. PTO and paid holidays. Discounted tuition for your own children.
We are located in beautiful small-town Purcellville, Virginia, just a short 10-minute drive west of Leesburg.
Duties
This position is providing assistance in our older toddler/younger 2-year old classroom. Assisting the lead teacher, the right candidate will help ensure a safe environment for the children, help with diaper changes, serving meals, supervising nap times, and having fun with this amazing age group! Regular playground time is on the schedule, along with age-appropriate activities throughout the day. The most important thing is loving children!
