Contract Requirements 

  • Must maintain a minimum of 32 hours per week
  • Available every other weekend as needed 
  • Available every other holiday as needed


Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with an active nursing license in the state hired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


Job Responsibilities


  • Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients across different age groups and medical conditions. Perform assessments, administer medications, provide wound care, and ensure patients' physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to create personalized care plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes. Adhere to regulatory guidelines and agency protocols for documentation.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, their families, and caregivers, ensuring they are well-informed about treatment plans, progress, and any necessary instructions for care.
  • Critical Thinking: Assess complex situations and make informed decisions to prioritize patient care. Respond adeptly to emergent situations and adapt to changing healthcare environments.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest nursing practices, medical advancements, and technological developments through continuous education and training. Contribute to a culture of learning and improvement within Oasis.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality, following infection control protocols, and upholding professional nursing ethics.
