Our client is seeking a Machine Setup Operate to join their team. As a Machine Setup Operator, you will be part of a growing team supporting the production of high end USA made product. The ideal candidate will have recent CNC setup/Programming experience and be detail oriented and organized which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Machine Setup / Programmer Operator
Location: Overland Park, KS
Pay Range: Depends on experience
What’s the Job?
- Setup and operating of a variety of machine tools
- Fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain machines.
- Troubleshoot in order to identify issues
- Inspects products for quality
- General clean up of work space
What’s Needed?
- Ability to understand and use CNC machine controls
- Ability to read, understand and input machinist programs, instructions into the CNC Machine
- Ability to work with CAD/CAM technology, CNC Machine tools and manual and computerized measuring machines
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stretch and lift up to 50lbs for entire shift
- Ability to see different colors, depths and shades of different peripherals and distances
