Position Title: Production – 1st Shift

Wage: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm

Production Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Prep product for packaging by taking off the meat from the chicken carcass by cutting, trimming, and slicing before placing on moving conveyer according to the product type
- Separate product when coming down a conveyer line into a bundle of two or more specified by order to be placed on trays and packaged for shipment
- Perform quality control of the products
- Prep and make boxes of different sizes
- Put the product in the boxes, weigh it, tape the box, and print off a label to be placed on the outer edge of the box
- Place the box onto a conveyer line to be sent to the shipping department         
- Operate forklift or electric pallet jack to move the pallets to the waiting area or truck beds for shipment

Production Requirements:
- Able to stand for duration of shift      
- Able to bend, twist and reach throughout shift      
- Able to lift up to 70lbs
- Able to work in 35–40-degree temperatures
- Previous production experience is production preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced and repetitive environment
- Strong attention to detail
