Food Program/Primetime Enrichment

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Finance Director/Food Program Manager, the incumbent is responsible for: purchasing, distributing, and inventory control of enrichment supplies for Prime Time, Summer Camp, and other major events within the association. If there is a need for assistance with the Food Program, the incumbent will assist with: prep and production of daily meals.

Typical Physical Demands: Physical stamina is required to tolerate continuous standing, stooping, reaching, grasping, kneeling, walking, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 75+ lbs. Requires full range of body motion, including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Occasionally requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.

Typical Working Conditions: Duties are typically performed in areas related to office and storage room. Duties performed may also be in kitchen and food production area (Cheryl's Kitchen) and performed while walking or standing. The ability to withstand temperature variances common to food service facilities is required. May require training, seminars, and workshops. Lifting of 75lbs & up.

Job Segments:

1. Purchase, maintain inventory, assemble, and distribute supplies related to Primetime Enrichment.
2. Observes and promotes safe work practices and procedures.
3. Will create/make crafts, staff shirts, decorations for events/holidays, and will assist with any craft projects.
4. Act as liaison for primetime and camp for projects and craft ideas and supply documentation needed for projects.
5. Possible preparation of pre-packaged food for breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for the children in the CSRA.
6. Follow all temperature control guidelines to maintain safe temperatures of food.
7. Understands that it is your responsibility to gather your own supplies for food production, follow all sanitation guidelines.
8. Do not rely on other people to gather your supplies for you.
9. Properly maintain storage of prepared meals with correct labels with counts of meals in each storage container.
10. Responsible for cleaning up after yourself. This includes, putting all food/supplies away in correct locations, wiping down/sanitizing tables, cleaning up all trash and throwing it away, and sweeping your area.
11. Must clock out for breaks, including lunch breaks.
12. Must communicate with the Finance Director prior to work shift about any absences, tardiness, or emergency that will keep you from coming to work.
13. Adheres to uniform and personal hygiene requirements.

15. Performs all other duties as assigned.
16. Assist in unloading vendor delivery trucks when needed.

Education/Experience/Requirements:

• High School Diploma or satisfactory completion of the GED.
• Certifications required within 45 days of hire: CPR/AED, BBP, and First Aid
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Position requires a clear criminal background check to include an MVR (Motor Vehicle Report), if applicable.
