FYZCIAL Therapy and Balance Centers is looking for a full time Physical Therapist and Clinical Director at our location in St. Bernard (Chalmette), Louisiana!
 
FYZICAL has been serving patients with dizziness, balance disorders, and general orthopedic conditions in the greater New Orleans community since 2013. We currently have three independently owned locations: Uptown New Orleans, Metairie, and St. Bernard Parish. We are looking for a collaborative, energetic physical therapist to provide a high standard of care to our patients and lead our St. Bernard team.

Salary + Bonus:  $35 - $45hrResponsibilitiesPhysical Therapist Responsibilities:
  • Perform new-patient evaluations/exams
  • Diagnose patients; evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create a plan that sets a goal and completion date
  • Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises; track progress
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients
  • Establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Establish a plan goal and time frame
  • Prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness
  • Educate the patient on continuing care
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage plan of care of patients with dizziness, balance disorders, and general orthopedic disorders
  • Manage support staff including physical therapist assistants and rehab technicians
  • Provide analytics and organizational oversight for the facility
  • Maintain clinic’s day-to-day operations
Required SkillsPhysical Therapist Qualifications:
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
    • Preferred 2 years experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
    • Active PT license in the state of Louisiana
  • Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment 
  • Graduation from an accredited PT program
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Heavy orthopedic client base with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
