N8 Solutions is seeking a Kosciusko County Lead forNorthern Indiana Youth For Christ, a faith-based nonprofit that works together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus through a variety of youth programs.


The Kosciusko County Lead is a position that requires spiritual and organizational leadership skills, the ability to work with and through other people, and strong communication skills. S/he must embrace and build a team that embodies YFC's Cultural Attributes: Christ-centered, enduring humility, relentless trust, courageous faithfulness, joyful camaraderie, and Kingdom-inspired diversity. S/he will seek to implement relational ministry actions to develop Authentic Christ-sharing Relationships with young people within the context of their YFC ministry model.


Salary Range


  • $50-60k based on experience

Purpose of the Kosciusko County Lead Position:


Focus on furthering the mission and vision of YFCNIN and developing our ministry programs throughout Kosciusko County


Responsibilities:


Site Leadership


  • Lead the Warsaw High School Campus Life ministry
  • Build and activate teams to engage young people in relational ministry


Ministry Development


  • Grow vibrant relational ministry in multiple sites (a vision toward all of the high schools and middle schools in Kosciusko County)
  • Apply entrepreneurial spirit in working to uncover Gods story of hope in the next generation of Kosciusko County
  • Engage with community partners, churches, and other like-minded organizations to expand ministry impact


Ministry Excellence


  • Ensure ministry standards are being met with proper training, development, curriculum, and techniques


Staff Leadership


  • Lead, coach, serve, and encourage staff and ministry leaders in Kosciusko County
  • Build and retain the right team to carry out the mission of YFCNIN
  • Invest in key site leaders to multiply into teams


Community Engagement


  • Steward growing community collaboration (run community support team, youth pastor network, etc.) in partnership with the Regional Director


Financial Development


  • Working with the Regional Director, the County Lead will oversee and be responsible for managing and securing the annual department budget by overseeing donor relationships, leading his/her team, growing community funding relationships, and overseeing agreements with local foundations.


Operational Management


  • Oversee the operations of ministry within Kosciusko County
  • Ad Hoc Leadership Functions as Assigned


Fundraising Responsibilities


  • All leaders will be given the opportunity to be involved in the stewardship functions of YFCNIN. These opportunities could include fundraising events, YFC donor contacts, and other opportunities as provided.


Spiritual Responsibilities


Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage lifelong disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.


As an employee and a minister of the Gospel, YFCNIN expects all employees to:

  • Seek Gods guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives.
  • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role within YFC.
  • Teach and preach from the Holy Bible at YFC staff meetings, conferences, camps and events.
  • Model empathy, humility and care for all people. This includes promoting equity and inclusion in word and in the practice of facial expression.
  • Additionally, YFCNIN employees will have an opportunity to be commissioned or licensed as a minister of the Gospel through the established YFC process, and/or ordained by an outside body recognized by YFC USA.

Requirements


Education and Experience


  • 4+ years of proven leadership experience
  • 3+ years of ministry experience
  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience)
