2nd Shift Forklift Operator

F. L. Crane & Sons, Inc. an employee-owned specialty contractor with over 75 years of experience covering a wide range of finishing, metal panel systems and custom crating. We are based out of Fulton MS and operate 14 divisions throughout the southeastern part of the US. • Operate forklift to load and unload materials and supplies
• Transport materials to designated work areas for crews
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies on job site
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift and other equipment as necessary
• Follow safety protocols to minimize risk to self and others
• Work collaboratively with crews to ensure efficient and effective use of materials
• Participate in training programs and stay up-to-date with safety regulations and industry best practices

Please note 2nd Shift hours are from 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience operating a forklift in a construction or warehouse environment
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to forklift operation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with others
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to follow verbal instructions
• Ability to read color labels and identify products
• Ability to read tape measure
• Ability to use saw, nail guns, and other hand tools
• Basic math skills
• Forklift training
• Ability to count
