Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Developmental Specialist (DS) with experience in early intervention to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing specialized support to young children with developmental disabilities, focusing on early intervention strategies to promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record that meets insurance provider standards.
  • Must be able to pass all required backgrounds.
  • Must be able to travel through out Eddy County.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically in early intervention programs.
  • Profound knowledge of early childhood development and intervention techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with families and caregivers.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine individual strengths and areas for development in young children.
  • Create personalized early intervention plans to address developmental needs and support growth.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to enhance communication, social interactions, and independent skills in children.
  • Work closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to intervention.
  • Track progress regularly and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on intervention activities and outcomes.
