Job Description
RAMS Security is seeking a full-time Armed Security Guard in Astoria, OR 97146.
RAMS Security, founded by a retired US Marshall in 1980 is a well-trained security force providing security for critical infrastructure. We invest in our employees, providing continuous training so we can deliver Peace of Mind for our clients.

Camp Rilea
Warrenton, OR
Job Duties:
· Provide armed stationary security at a military site.
· Staff guard house
· Control access to facility
· Conduct foot patrol and vehicle patrol to cover buildings and grounds.
· Log activities, perform fire watch and issue reports.
· Escort unauthorized persons from grounds.
Armed certification instructor training costs and licensing fees will be paid by employer on condition 1 year minimum employment with RAMS.
Hours per week: 32 -40
Status: Full Time
Duration: Six months or more
Shifts Available: 1st (Day), 2nd (Swing), 3rd (Night)
Wage: $19.00 per hour
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED.
· At least 21 years of age (state licensing requirement).
· Have or be able to obtain an armed DPSST license. (RAMS will pay for armed/unarmed training cost, and certification fees if stay employed for minimum of 1 year)
· Ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED license (employer paid).
· Valid driver’s license in order to drive company vehicle.
· All employees will need to pass a drug test.
· All employees will need to test and qualify on a firing range by meeting Oregon Certification Standards.
· Pass annual physical ability test each year after hire.
Experience:
Prefer prior military, security, or law enforcement experience.
Some knowledge of CCTV equipment operation, previous experience using a computer and basic security equipment are also preferred.
