We are looking a Press Helper for an exciting opportunity in our new Riverton Facility.

The Press Helper is an on-site position who assists with the operation of one machine (such as bindery, mail and/or finishing machine).

• Under direct supervision, assists with sets-up, maintenance, minor repair and operation of one machine.
• Operates and observe machine to detect malfunctions throughout the production run.
• Interprets job tickets or SOP’s accurately so jobs are completed per customer’s requirements.
• Selects samples and/or proofs for customer’s review, as requested.
• Sorts and prepares output for next step in process.
• Understands and follows safety and quality requirements.
• Ensures the team members have adequate materials, tools, and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.

• High school diploma and general education degree (GED).
• 5 years minimum related experience and/or training.
• Journal level pressman including how to start, prepare and color test printing requirements and knowledge of safety regulations including safe use of chemicals.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong Verbal and written communications to follow safety rules, instructions and SOP’s.
• Reviews all work carefully for completeness and accuracy; pays attention to details.
• Identifies problems and notifies manager in a timely manner.
• Interpersonal skills to get along and work effectively with others.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Uses self-management skills to plan, organize and prioritize work activities to use time effectively.
• Handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast environment.
