People Incorporated of Virginia seeks a Domestic Violence Advocate. The position is responsible for case management and advocacy to victims of violence; assists victims in safety planning, obtaining services from other agencies, and meeting their identified needs; helps victims navigate the legal system; organizes support groups for victims; prepares and delivers public presentations to heighten community awareness regarding issues of violence; and provides coverage of the Information and Referral Hotline.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree in the field of human services and two years' experience working with victims of violence. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary.
