Drywall Delivery Assistant

Nexeo HR is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Drywall Delivery Assistant. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced delivery professionals to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of drywall materials to construction sites and clients' locations. Responsibilities

•Assist with Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload drywall products onto delivery vehicles, ensuring proper securing and organization for transportation. Collaborate with the delivery team to expedite loading and unloading processes efficiently.

•Product Handling and Inspection: Handle drywall materials with care to prevent damage during handling and transportation. Conduct visual inspections of products for quality assurance, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the delivery driver or supervisor.

•Route Navigation: Assist the delivery driver with navigation to designated delivery locations using GPS devices or maps. Familiarize yourself with local roads and traffic patterns to optimize delivery routes and minimize travel time.

•Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with clients and timely resolution of inquiries or concerns. Represent our company professionally and uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

•Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more) repeatedly throughout the workday. Stamina to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions and terrain.

•Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of drywall products and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to identify and report product defects or irregularities promptly.

•Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with customers. Clear verbal communication for relaying delivery instructions and addressing customer inquiries.

•Reliability and Punctuality: Dependable work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and attendance. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate delivery schedules and meet customer needs.

Pay

$20.00 Per Hour

Schedule

7:00am – 5:00pm | Monday – Friday
