Glass Maker
United Talent is immediately hiring a glass maker in Paden City, WV. As a Glass Maker, you will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for crafting premium glass products with precision and care. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, creativity, and technical skill are paramount.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain glass melting furnaces and equipment to produce molten glass according to specified formulas and temperatures. Shape, cut, and manipulate molten glass using various tools and techniques such as blowing, pressing, rolling, and casting.
- Prepare raw materials and pigments for glass batches according to precise formulas and recipes. Ensure accuracy in measuring and mixing ingredients to achieve desired colors and properties in the glass.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Follow industry regulations and guidelines for handling hazardous materials, operating machinery, and controlling environmental impacts.
Pay & Shift:
Pay starts at $13.50/hr
Requirements:
- No education requirements
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions, work independently, and problem-solve effectively.
- Must be able to work in high temperature areas.
