Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Valley City, ND. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will provide quality planning, control, and improvement support for product development teams, manufacturing engineering, supply management, and manufacturing and/or distribution organizations to assure John Deere product quality meets the customers' expectations.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:

• Seeking hands on factory experience inspecting parts, reading prints, and troubleshooting quality related issues.
• Ability to read prints and troubleshoot daily assembly quality issues driving for root cause analysis using 8D principles.
• Track nonconformance issues through the John Deere corrective action process.
• QE to monitor the factory for quality issues on the production line, root cause and interacting with the operations team for resolution.

Requirements:

• Should have hands on factory experience inspecting parts, reading prints, and troubleshooting quality related issues.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems analytically.
• Ability to solve problems by determining root cause and driving corrective action.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data.
• Ability to interact with multiple engineering areas to resolve problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize a large number of tasks.
• 8D / Six Sigma.
• Engineering degree.

Preferred Skills:

• Mechanical, or industrial engineering degree.
• 3 years of experience.
