This is a Seasonal Position.

This position is primarily responsible for assisting every guest in checking in and out and making resort guests feel welcome. This position requires that all guests be greeted as they enter the lobby and that the front desk associate is attentive to all guest needs. This position will also answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments as needed. In addition, this position will also perform the following duties.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service by assisting guests and ensuring that any issues or challenges are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process guests check in and offer additional services that the guest may need.
  • Process guests check outs and ensure no open balances are present
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written skills to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Must be dependable; consistently present and punctual
  • Review Online Travel Agent sites to verify arrivals
  • Assign RCI units to RCI specific rooms
  • Sign in/out vendor and security keys
  • Perform No-show of marketing reservations
  • Agent must be able to perform basic math and handle cash
  • Must be able to process credit cards
  • Perform a daily inhouse registration form check and identify any discrepancies
  • Complete all tasks on the shift checklist
  • Maintain operations by following Daily Management policies and procedures
  • Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities):

Experience:

Three to five years of hospitality-related experience is required. Timeshare or Resort management experience highly desirable. Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; communicate effectively at all levels; and demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems. Must possess significant computer software program experience, especially Excel and Word.

Education: High School diploma or GED required.

Flexible Scheduling:

Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and weight.

The employee will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and, to talk, hear and/or smell. The employee must regularly push, pull, lift and/or move 10-25 lbs. And occasionally push, pull, lift and/or move 50 or more pounds with assistance. Specific Vision abilities required for this job include Close vision, Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus in various settings. Good Customer Service skills are a must.

This position is highly visible in all resort areas, team members must present a clean professional appearance and must adhered to Daily Management, Inc., Local Standard Operating Procedures-Standards of Appearance.
