Job Description:
Lead Staffing is currently hiring Pipefitters for a project in Okeechobee, Florida to start as soon as possible. As a pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning correctly.
Responsibilities:
- You will be installing carbon steel pipe, risers for Chiller, etc.
- Must have experience working on steel/welded pipe and working with risers.
- Copper experience is a plus as well.
- Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine pipe layout and design.
- Measure, cut, and thread pipes to the required specifications.
- Assemble and install piping systems using various tools and techniques.
- Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and other issues.
- Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed.
Requirements:
- Osha 10 Certification
- Proven experience as a pipefitter, Journeyman level 8 plus years.
- Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for pipefitting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
- Able to maintain a safe work environment.
- Great attitude, communication skills and reliable attendance & transportation.
- Must have all tools of the trade (PPE).
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test & background check.
