1st shift Pipefitter, $25-28/hr – Grand Ledge, Mi
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Hydraulics and Pneumatics or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or 6 years of related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
- Ability to communicate with team leader
- Implement fixes in best practice
- Must wear all proper PPE throughout shift
Preferred Skills:
- Must know how to bend pipe: Hand bending, bench bending, and power bench bending.
- Ability to operate the following equipment: threaders, benders, power flare, power hose crimp, drill press, and power saws.
- Assist engineers with the startup of machinery
- Ensure materials necessary to complete the project have been procured and will be available to Controls Assembly timely in order to meet customer requirements.
- Routinely practices safety necessary for themselves and all other employees
Must enjoy working in a team environment, running manufacturing equipment and performing manual operations.
