**Job Title: Inventory Specialist - Greater NYC and Long Island**
**Position Type: Contractor (3-4 Month Term, Potential for Temporary to Permanent Transition) **

**Job Summary**
Agilant Solutions is seeking multiple entry to intermediate level technical candidates to become part of our Inventory Specialist team. We are currently building a service team to assist one of our esteemed healthcare clients in the greater NYC area and Long Island through the various phases of a software implementation initiative. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and collecting data on end-user workstations, printers, and other IT devices and recording this data into a web portal developed by the customers' IT department. This collected data will be analyzed to determine equipment readiness for the software migration. This role requires diligence, a professional appearance, and excellent customer-facing etiquette.
**Key Responsibilities**
· Collect data on end-user workstations, printers, and IT devices.
· Accurately enter data into a web portal.
· Perform desktop navigation tasks.
· Read and mark up floor plans.
· Maintain a professional customer-facing demeanor.
· Utilize personal transportation for site visits (must have a car).
· Complete a comprehensive Health Screening provided by the customer.
· Comfortable working in healthcare environments. (Or can use Locations/Settings)
**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months to 2 years of experience in desktop support or related IT roles.
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Technical proficiency in using computers and mobile devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Experience in a healthcare or medical records environment is a plus.
- Proof of COVID vaccination required.
**Working Conditions**
- Regular travel to different hospitals and ambulatory sites in the Greater NYC and Long Island area.
- Standing, walking, and the extended use of mobile devices will be required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary.
