Job Description:

As a Mechanical and Plumbing Designer at American Incorporated, your role involves creating design sketches, performing calculations, and generating designs that align seamlessly with the requirements set forth by local and state regulations or by government regulatory agencies. Your responsibilities encompass:

· Collaborating with fellow Designers, Engineers, and Project Management teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements.

· Sketch designs and conducting precise calculations for mechanical and plumbing systems.

· Ensure plans follow city codes and regulations or other governing bodies such as OSHPD and DSA.

· Collaborate with drafters to produce design drawings ready for submission to city authorities.

· Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for mechanical and plumbing challenges.

Job Requirements:

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

· Knowledge of designing mechanical and plumbing systems for industrial or commercial designs.

· Expert understanding of city codes and regulations related to mechanical and plumbing systems.

· Exceptional problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· The ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· This is an “In Office” position only.

· Experience in Title 24 calculation software and other relevant design tools is a plus.
