Buyer Planner

If you have 2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, this Buyer/Planner role could be a great fit for you!
A leader in the manufacturing supply chain industry, is adding a customer-focused Buyer/Planner to their growing team. This company takes pride in providing solutions in assembly, sub-assembly, warehousing, and supply chain management for their customers.  
The Buyer/Planner will work directly with suppliers, customers, and production teams to ensure materials are readily available to fulfill order requirements on time. 

This direct hire opportunity offers a full-time Monday through Friday work schedule, generous benefits, and potential for career growth and development. 

Buyer/Planner Job Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and maintain supply of materials.
  2. Plan and coordinate delivery, assembly and distribution of supplies and parts.
  3. Troubleshoot delays, changes or other challenges and communicate to appropriate departments
  4. Utilize MRP system to track and report material requirements and availability.
  5. Maintain relationships and timely communication with suppliers, vendors, customers and managers.
Work Schedule: 7 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday

Buyer/Planner Qualifications:
  1. 2+ years of experience in purchasing and buying in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Experience working with MRP system.
  3. Track record of building collaborative relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  4. Proficient working with MS Office Suite.
  5. Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing operations and workflow.
Pay Range: $65K - $68K plus benefits
