Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Full Stack developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Locations: Dallas, TX/ Pittsburgh, PA/ Cleveland, Ohio (Candidate should be able to work from any of the three locations)

Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

* Understands target state architecture and various components that cater to business capabilities.

* Responsible for Sprint and product deliverables.

* Develop and deploy target state components as per business requirements.

* Understand and document data flows in and between different systems / applications.

* Adheres to procedures and guidelines set forth.

* Assists team with any tech stack challenges and mitigate impediments.

* Compiling status reports and participate in all Scrum ceremonies.

* Prepare documentation, code Reviews & incorporate feedback on time.

* Educate staff members through training and individual support.

* Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner.

Qualifications

* Strong Senior FSE with minimum 10 to 15 years of experience with Java Full stack development.

* Experience in Angular 12+, Java API, Spring Boot, Microservices and Mongo DB, Oracle DB.

* Strong hands-on experience in designing and delivering Java Web Applications.

* Strong experience with Architecture, Design and Development of API Services.

* Should have strong experience in DevOps.

* Should be independently able to work in complex Technical Ecosystem.

* Should have experience in developing REST and SOAP Web Services.

* Should be well versed in Troubleshooting Application issues by monitoring log.

* Should have very good communication skills.

* Should be able to assess and analyze work with client independently.
