School Psychologist

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team in the Parnell, Kansas area. This position focuses on serving students in grades K-5th. As a Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting evaluation reports and providing comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluation reports to assess students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide counseling and support services to students with behavioral, emotional, or social difficulties
• Monitor student progress and make recommendations for adjustments to intervention plans as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide intervention programs
• Stay updated on best practices in school psychology and participate in relevant professional development activities

Requirements:

• Valid state licensure/certification as a Psychologist
• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience working with elementary school students (K-5th)
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work on-site for 5 days a week
