We are seeking askilled and dedicatedBCBA(Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team at a school in the Casa Grande, AZarea. As a BCBA, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral assessment and intervention services to students with special needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behaviors in students.
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIP) based on the results of the FBA.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
- Train and collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to ensure consistency in implementing behavior plans across environments.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make data-driven decisions regarding treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to school staff and parents to promote the generalization and maintenance of behavior change.
- Conduct regular progress evaluations and update behavior plans as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Qualifications:
- Current CABCBA certification
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and adolescents with special needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ABA principles, strategies, and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, school staff, and parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Must eligible to work in the U.S.
