Job Details:

• State Licensure Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, in collaboration with parents, general education teachers, and other members of the IEP team.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various academic subjects, adapting curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individualized goals and objectives.
• Assess student progress using a variety of assessment tools and techniques, and use data to inform instructional decisions and modify interventions as needed.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and fosters social-emotional growth and development.
• Collaborate with school staff and munity resources to provide a continuum of services and supports for students with disabilities, including participation in IEP meetings and case conferences.
