You'll play a pivotal role in supporting students' mental, social, and academic growth while collaborating with a dedicated group of educators and staff.

Position Overview:

As a School Psychologist, you'll work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to address the diverse needs of our students. Your key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, offering counseling services, and implementing intervention strategies to support students' emotional and academic development. You'll also be involved in crisis management, case coordination, and the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of students' intellectual, emotional, and behavioral development.
  2. Provide compassionate counseling and support services to students facing various challenges.
  3. Collaborate with teachers and parents to design effective behavior management plans.
  4. Contribute to the development and review of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  5. Assist in crisis intervention and offer support during challenging situations.
  6. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by working with other school professionals.
  7. Stay updated with the latest best practices and research in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

  1. Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  2. State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Massachusetts.
  3. Solid understanding of psychological principles and their application in an educational setting.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  5. Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results accurately.
  6. Experience in counseling and crisis intervention will be highly regarded.
  7. A strong commitment to students' well-being and academic success.
