Schools - Social Worker

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team in Howard, OH. As a School Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social-emotional well-being of students within the school setting. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement strategies to support students' academic and social-emotional growth.
• Advocate for students and families to ensure access to necessary resources and support services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
• Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in school social work and related fields.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Valid Ohio Department of Education School Social Work License.
• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a school or similar setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to cultural competency and diversity.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and communication.
