Teller Supervisor

What You'll Be Doing

As a Teller Supervisor at Bank Iowa, you will be primarily responsible for the overall supervision of the teller team and ensuring a superior client experience. A Teller Supervisor partners with the Regional Retail Banking Director in directing activities within the branch to accomplish sales and service objectives to enhance client relationships.

• A Teller Supervisor supervises and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the teller line for our Lawler location.
• Leads the teller line in cross-selling, referrals and new business efforts in support of branch referral goals. Serves as Back up to Regional Retail Banking Manager when needed.
• A Teller Supervisor manages teller schedules ensuring continuous coverage of teller functions and adherence to established schedules.
• Works closely with branch management to communicate key information to the branch team regarding changes to bank policies, procedures, products and services.

A Teller Supervisor is generally scheduled to work between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Skills/Experience You'll Need

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• 5+ years previous cash handling and/or client experience in a financial institution.
• Previous Teller Supervisor experience preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have banking experience, strong customer service focus, ability to listen to customer needs and suggest solutions for those needs, excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to learn and utilize multiple computer applications.
