KeyStaff is seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team in Austin, TX.

As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality electronic devices.

Pay: $18-$20

Schedule: 7am-4pm

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and stencil printers
- Load and unload PCBs onto the production line
- Monitor the production process to ensure proper placement and soldering of components
- Inspect finished PCBs for defects and perform necessary rework or repairs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Follow work instructions and adhere to quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Proficiency in machining and mechanical knowledge
- Ability to fabricate and assemble electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment
- Familiarity with reading schematics and understanding electrical wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements using calipers or other measuring instruments
