Responsibilities
- Clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
- Working on several different orders simultaneously.
- Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Attention to detail.
- Key focus on presentation.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by patron and confirm proper preparation of food before plating.
- Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.
- Adherence to all state and local licenses.
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
- Food handler's card may be required according to local and or state regulations
