Summer Research and Development intern position. Estimated duration 3 months.
JOB SUMMARY: R&D Lab Intern will assist technicians and scientists in developing recipes utilizing our food ingredients, and developing food demos. ideal candidate is a student enrolled in a culinary arts programs.
Essential Duties and Key areas of responsibilities:
- Demonstrate good laboratory practices and follow SOPs
- Prepare demos for product development activities as directed
- Support the team in preparation, set up, and documentation of test results, etc.
- Maintain instruments, including daily calibrations, and ensure lab equipment is ready and available for use, including cleaning and set up
- Maintain retain sample area up-to-date, lab data &inventory logs
- Execute tests/experiments as directed
- Effectively communicate with lab and operations personnel
Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
