The Systems Trainer ensures efforts are in alignment with the IT Shared Services team to support customer-focused objectives and the IT Vision, a collaborative partner delivering innovative ideas, solutions, and services to simplify people’s lives. The Systems Trainer is responsible for creating training materials across a multitude of Navitus applications, including the claim adjudication platform. This role also conducts training sessions to enable clients and functional areas to accomplish their daily work using a variety of Navitus applications. The Systems Trainer provides training support via multiple communication channels including phone, video conference and onsite (when Client requested).

How do I make an impact on my team?

  • Ensure efforts delight the customer
  • Provide superior customer service utilizing a high-touch, customer centric approach focused on collaboration and communication
  • Design and create training materials for multiple Navitus applications
  • Conduct training classes by presenting job-specific, company-specific, and best practices use of multiple Navitus applications
  • Reinforce training concepts and best practices by holding special workshops and train the trainer sessions
  • Conduct regular training needs assessment with clients and functional areas by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, workflow, and job-specific functions and tasks
  • Proactively research Navitus application changes to determine impact and scope of changes for existing documentation
  • Design and implement tools and measures to evaluate impact / success of training
  • Document and retain records of all training, reviews, and feedback
  • Provide input on documentation templates, design, and the overall documentation process
  • Proofread and edit documentation to ensure consistency of language, style, and template standardization

What our team expects from you?

  • College degree and/or a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry practices, HIPAA, and applicable data privacy practices preferred
  • Knowledge of PBM or health care industry preferred
  • Ability to organize information, learn complex technologies, and explain concepts and instructions clearly and concisely
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into easily understandable language
  • Familiar with Agile Scrum Framework
  • Advanced experience with core software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Advanced with virtual meeting applications; Microsoft Teams preferred.
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
  • The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
