Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the People and Culture team, to support Trumark’s Central California division. Reporting directly to the Manager of People and Culture, the Human Resources Coordinator must have exceptional people skills and will support efforts in employee orientation, benefit administration, company policy, and employment law compliance. This position will require minimal travel to the Central Coast. For the first three months of employment minimal travel may be required to the San Ramon offices for training.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required.
  • Demonstrated high level of operational intelligence and integrity. Self-motivated , with demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think independently.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and standards such as ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc.
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now, including reporting and system entry.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Onboarding
  • Coordinate talent acquisition processes and assist with recruitment tasks as needed. Manage offer letters, background checks, and correspondence with candidates.
  • Onboard new employees, including entering new employee information into ADP, coordinating new hire orientation schedule, and verifying employee eligibility.
  • Maintain system records and department tracking files ensuring timely and accurate records.
HR Compliance
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and procedures are in compliance.
  • Coordinate with Payroll on system processing for new hires, terminations, and position changes.
  • Manage day to day ADP responsibilities (New Hires, Benefits and Partnering with payroll).
Benefits
  • Assist employees with benefit issues, mid-year changes, new employee benefits and related. Collaborate with our benefits broker to administer employee benefits. Act as workers comp liaison for employees, ensuring effective claim management.
  • Address questions relating to benefits, policies, etc., escalating complex issues as appropriate.
  • Manage Culture Committee, aligning with benefits strategy and employee well-being initiatives.
  • Leave of absence management.
Miscellaneous
  • Serve as a primary contact for CenCal employees, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee and execute HR operations, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, employee records maintenance, benefits, and data integrity.
  • Monitor and manage the HR inbox daily, responding to all inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Take ownership of requests and delegated actions in a swift, professional manner while keeping relevant stakeholders updated.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results orientation. Facilitate continuous process improvement by participating in the development, implementation and ongoing assessment of human resources programs, policies, and procedures.
