The Parts Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing shipping and receiving activities. This employee will accurately document incoming freight, fulfill customer needs, maintain inventory levels, pull parts and document receipts of inventory in our company systems.

The desired candidate MUST have experience with parts receiving and ordering parts

Material Handling Equipment knowledge is a plus!


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment.
  • Documents shipment data including weight and cost.
  • Receives and unpacks materials and supplies that comes in from deliveries.
  • Manage receiving schedules of inbound shipments for vendors.
  • Reports damaged shipments and document accuracies to accounting.
  • Completes shipping and receiving reports.
  • Account for sealed trailers upon arrival and departure.
  • Using company systems to prepare accurate bills of lading for outbound freight.
  • Ensures that truck drivers have appropriate paperwork in hand.
  • Assist in other warehouse duties, as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • The desired candidate MUST have experience with parts receiving and ordering parts.

Key Performance Measurements

  • Management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, and willingness & ability to learn new skills and information.
  • Other key metrics prescribed by Miner Corp leadership, resulting in positive customer and Company impact.
Requirements:
  • Experience in working with computer shipping systems.
  • Qualified or able to operate a forklift and other warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Previous work experience in a warehouse, at least 2 years preferred.
  • Able to work independently, but also in a team environment.
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills are a must.
  • Able to manage time effectively, as well as complete service reports, timecards and parts ordering.
  • Communicate well with customers, vendors, company peers and management, etc.
  • Needs to be a self-starter and work with little or no supervision.
  • Able to work overtime when assigned and/or required.
  • GED or High School degree required.
  • The selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
