Personal Banker

This position will be the “front line of the bank” and will need to have a good general knowledge of the bank’s products. This employee will also assist customers as needed.

$15 - $20 hourly

Duties for this position will include the following:

Customer Service:

• The ability to open all types of accounts
• Including -checking, savings, business, CD, HSA, IRA, etc
• The ability to help customers with our electronic banking services
• Including -Mobile and Online banking, Teleserv, Bill Pay, Epay, etc
• The ability to process incoming and outgoing wires.
• Back-up teller responsibilities
• Cash handling, Gift, and Travel card services

Loans:

• General Knowledge of KVSB consumer and mortgage loan products
• Knowledge of KVSB credit card products
• Accept loan applications via the KVSB Internet consumer application
• Complete Payment ratio calculation
• Review with the loan officer for loan underwriting and pricing
• Complete loan worksheet in On-Base
• Gather supporting documents such as pay stubs, titles, insurance, etc.
• Loan closing
• Assist in Loan extensions
• LOC and construction loan advances
• Input tax returns and financial statements in Suntell (St Marys only)

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous loan experience with an education in banking and loan
