Job Description
This position will be the “front line of the bank” and will need to have a good general knowledge of the bank’s products. This employee will also assist customers as needed.
Compensation:$15 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities:Duties for this position will include the following:
Customer Service:
- The ability to open all types of accounts
- Including -checking, savings, business, CD, HSA, IRA, etc
- The ability to help customers with our electronic banking services
- Including -Mobile and Online banking, Teleserv, Bill Pay, Epay, etc
- The ability to process incoming and outgoing wires.
- Back-up teller responsibilities
- Cash handling, Gift, and Travel card services
Loans:
- General Knowledge of KVSB consumer and mortgage loan products
- Knowledge of KVSB credit card products
- Accept loan applications via the KVSB Internet consumer application
- Complete Payment ratio calculation
- Review with the loan officer for loan underwriting and pricing
- Complete loan worksheet in On-Base
- Gather supporting documents such as pay stubs, titles, insurance, etc.
- Loan closing
- Assist in Loan extensions
- LOC and construction loan advances
- Input tax returns and financial statements in Suntell (St Marys only)
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous loan experience with an education in banking and loan
