About the Position

 

As a Digital Advertising Strategist at BrightFire, you’ll play a key role in the implementation, optimization, and ongoing day-to-day management of multiple pay-per-click (PPC) / paid search accounts in order to drive measurable revenue for our insurance agent clients. You’ll discuss paid search goals with our clients, set proper expectations, build out / manage their campaigns, and communicate results to our clients via email, phone calls, and/or Zoom meetings. You’ll also be expected to drive long-term paid search customer retention and help the rest of our team do the same. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital marketing and enjoys looking for ways to grow and improve the digital presence of our clients.


Additionally, you’ll play a critical role in leading and developing the overall strategy for our PPC advertising / paid search service.  As a subject matter expert for PPC advertising, you'll help evolve BrightFire's PPC advertising service best practices, test proposed changes, manage tools, train staff, and stay on top of emerging trends. A deep understanding of conversion science and data analysis is required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities


  • Manage Google Ads and Google Analytics for client accounts, from initial setup and implementation to ongoing maintenance and analysis.
  • Analyze metrics to identify trends and opportunities across our portfolio of clients.
  • Build and optimize campaigns to maximize client ROI.
  • Follow best practices for campaign strategy.
  • Drive the evolution of our PPC best practices.
  • Lead and train team members in PPC account management, campaign strategies, and best practices.
  • Host and confidently lead client calls via phone or Zoom.
  • Document meeting summaries through internal notes and meeting recap emails to clients.
  • Input and update client information in HubSpot.
  • Ensure that ad campaigns are being delivered accurately and effectively.
  • Proactively investigate and work to improve under-performing campaigns.
  • Help guide and update BrightFire's digital advertising processes.
  • Analyze metrics to discover common trends and find opportunities across our client portfolio.
  • Stay up to date on the latest news, trends, and best practices as it relates to the digital marketing services we offer.


Experience & Skills


  • 3+ years of client-facing, digital agency experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and deep understanding of Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable trends.
  • Google Ads Editor experience is a big plus.
  • HubSpot experience is a plus.
