Job Description

As a Kitchen Aide, you will support the kitchen team in various tasks. You will help prepare nutritious meals daily, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist in meal preparation. A Kitchen Aide will also assist in food deliveries, clean and organize the kitchen, and wash dishes. You will ensure that food is handled safely and maintain health and safety standards.

Compensation:

$16 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Loads, operates, and unloads dishwashing machine
  • Stores clean dishes and utensils in proper storage area
  • Cleans kitchen area, tables, and equipment
  • Disposes of garbage
  • Brings food deliveries to storage areas
  • Assists in food preparation and loading food trays on cart
  • Maintains a clean storage area
  • Assists in moving/lifting bulk food items
  • Maintains a clean dining area by wiping down tables, sweeping, and mopping up any spills
  • Perform kitchen-related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:

Education and Licensing

  • Must be 17+
  • Food Handlers Card

Experience

  • Training provided

Physical Requirements

  • Walking, bending, reading, written and verbal communication, and lifting up to 35 pounds

We are a small memory care community in Molalla, Oregon designed to care exclusively for those experiencing Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Our community consists of up to a maximum of 68 residents. We provide individualized care plans which means each person will receive attentive and detailed care specific to their needs.

Our Bear Creek family has a full-time nurse as well as a care team able to assist with activities of daily living 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
