Job Description
We are looking for someone with an outgoing disposition to greet our customers, set up appointments, and give material knowledge to customers. This starts as a part time greeting/sales/receptionist position with ongoing potential to go full time. This position will increase in hours as the store gets busier. You would also be on call to cover for sales staff who are out on vacation/sick, so we are looking for someone flexible to pick up extra hours as needed. If you do not have prior flooring sales experience - no problem! We will pay and train you as you begin your career in the flooring business.
The Perfect Match:
- Sales, experience in the flooring business, hostess/server, customer service all these prior work experiences are a plus but not required.
- Experience in bringing in customers and the ability to close sales.
- Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
- Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Excel: experience (Preferred)
- Must be able to commute to office within 30 minutes
- Driver's License (Required)
Part time hours:
- (2) 8-hour shifts per week
- 5-hour shift every other Saturday
- On call to cover other sales staff when they are out sick or on vacation
These hours will increase as we move into our busier season.
Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Must have own transportation.
