Job Description
Seeking a full-time or near full-time technician for our growing pharmacy in Sistersville, WV. Phillips Drug's culture has always been patient focused and we expect employees to be friendly, courteous, and go out of their way to assist in patients' needs.
Pharmacy technician duties include input of prescriptions, insurance adjudication, assistance filling prescriptions, inventory management, ordering responsibilities, assistance with automated robot for filling prescriptions. Some operating of a cash register / point of sale system.
Compliance packaging for patients in blister packed units, organizing synchronized and automated refills for patients.
Generally one weekday off during the week, and very limited number of Saturday morning shifts (once monthly)
Qualifications:
- retail pharmacy experience
- Patient service and care experience
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Ability to operate a cash register
These qualifications are essential for success in the role of Pharmacy Technician.
