Since 1946, more than 1.5 million youth and adults have been exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ through Hume Lake Christian Camps. Our camp and retreat centers are interdenominational, year-round camping ministries dedicated to the glory of God.  Our camps extend from the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts to the Sequoia National Forest, and the San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California.

Summary

Hume Christian Camps is looking for their next awesome Recruiting Specialist who will help them attract talent through building strong relationships with candidates and colleges and universities. The Recruiting Specialist will travel frequently to recruit while also supporting the HR department through various onboarding functions or HR projects.

What you’ll do

• Be the liaison for Hume Lake Christian Camps to Job Fairs and College Fairs.

• Sources and recruits quality candidates through a variety of channels.

• Ensures a healthy pipeline of candidates for the summer season.

• Provides effective communication to outside partners, vendors, and candidates.

• Maintains job postings from creation to execution to ensure they are aligned with the current job openings.

• Responsible for the execution of offer letters and onboarding process.

• Supports and assists with new Employee Orientations.

• May support other ongoing HR department functions and projects, as needed.

• Is able to effectively complete projects within deadlines, organize time and contribute along with other team members at a high level of execution.

• Is comfortable mostly working independently but collaboratively when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of strong Customer Service experience required.

• Required Travel up to 40% to US Universities: October to November and February to March.
