Jacob’s Well is a growing church in Eau Claire, WI with a congregation that is hungry for deep, authentic worship experiences. We are learning to trust the Holy Spirit as He draws us into greater boldness and reliance on Him. We have an average weekly attendance of 2,000 with two live worship venues as well as our online livestream.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Director oversees all aspects of live production at Jacob’s Well Church to facilitate meaningful and immersive worship environments. The Production Director is focused on the overall experience of a worship service; developing a team of volunteers that create compelling live audio mixes and seamless transitions all translated through dynamic camera work. The Production Director is a vital participant in sharing and upholding the vision, direction, and systems of Jacob’s Well Church and its overall worship ministry.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Produce professional live production environments that serve not to distract in worship, but to enhance the various elements of the global worship needs of Jacob’s Well Church.
· Serves as creative quality control for the Worship Center, Theater and Online experiences.
· Recruits, schedules, develops, and leads production volunteer team.
· Regularly make efforts toward personal development spiritually as well as in the areas of leadership, audio, video, lighting, and general technical skills.
· Make recommendations for strategic churchwide audiovisual upgrades.
· Responsible for the supervision of the Technical Director and Production Associate(s).
· Meet regularly with the Worship Staff Team for prayer, communication and evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Follower of Jesus Christ, exhibiting a growing relationship and spiritual maturity.
· Must have a working knowledge of live production including audio, video, lighting, programming, music, staging; and develop troubleshooting skills in all these areas.
· Skilled with Yamaha digital consoles, Waves SuperRack, Studio One/Ableton, ProPresenter, Lightkey, Dante Controller, Sony Cinema Cameras, and timecode automation.
· Ability to work effectively with volunteers; exhibiting creativity, understanding and patience.
