Hotel Pool Attendant

A Pool Attendants primary task is to provide for an exceptional atmosphere and guest experience while aiding in their pursuit of relaxing. The Pool Attendant will skillfully ensure guest satisfaction by aiding and assisting guests as applicable, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and maintain facilities in a neat and orderly manner. Must have current A.R.C. basic life support for the professional rescuer, CPR or equivalent certification.

Job Description

• Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests in all recreational activities and areas by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude.
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
• This team member would be required to perform other hotel-wide support duties when there are no bathers present. Examples might be- Assisting in laundry, stocking and sorting closets, assisting setting rooms for F&B.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Requirements

• Excellent service orientated attitude
• Fluency in English language; additional language skills and knowledge preferred.
• Prior experience in a high-volume hotel preferred.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Bending, climbing, reaching, stooping, and moving fast without discomfort

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour
